We took part in Science Blast in 2018/2019.

The theme we chose was " What happens when a space mission sets up a base on the moon?"

We studied the possibilities of creating a base on the moon and created a project around our findings.

We used Scoilnet, Worldbook Online, and a range of other sources.

Then we set about creating our moonbase out of Lego, using We-Do software, i-pads, and laptops, to display the project.

We had a great time imagining what life would look like and dealing with the challenges of energy, food, and water on the moon.

Our quest was to provide solutions to these problems and display the solutions in the Lego Models.

At the Science Blast Exhibition, we were curious and excited by all of the displays. We learned a lot by examining what other schools had undertaken.

Our exhibition received great attention from pupils and Judges alike, and they enjoyed watching the lego models in action.

What a great day!
