Junior First Lego League

What a wonderful event!

We attended the Junior First Lego League presentation evening, in Galway, sponsored by Galway Education Centre and Medtronic, on Wednesday March 21st.

Pupils from 2nd to 6th Class attended the presentation evening. The Senior Students in our school were mentors, supporting the research, model construction and coding in this year's project entitled

                                                                                                       "The Aqua Challenge"

The atmosphere in the hall was superb with pupils from Galway city and county taking part. The proceedings commenced at 6pm, with music, dance and a "shout out" by pupils for their schools.

Next, students from our school were interviewed and videoed so that all of the schools in the hall could see their projects on the big screen.

When Paul Sleem (aka Mr Fish) came to our stand our students gave a wonderful account of their work.

All of the models made by the students received interest from other students, teachers and parents on the evening. The event was a celebration of the imagination and creativity of our students.

Well Done everyone.
