World Book Day

World Book Day .        

Written by the pupils of Raheen N.S.

In the month of March the pupils of Raheen N.S. went to Portumna Library for World Book Day.

Pupils in 3rd ,4th ,5th and 6th classes participated in a very educational" Book Hunt".

Everyone worked together  to figure out and locate  the books on the Book Hunt list.

Meanwhile other classes were playing Jenga or enjoying reading , storytelling and other play activities.

In March 2018 our school , Raheen N.S. went to Portumna Library for World Book Day.

Pupils in 3rd , 4th, 5th and 6th classes took part in a Jenga League.

First we built the Jenga Towers and drew lots to decide on the groups.

I won in my group as the Jenga Tower was very wobbly when my opponent was taking her turn.

Our thanks to Teresa and Mary in Portumna Library for a varied and enjoyable programme.
